Open House at Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research

Take a sneak peek at wildlife rehabilitation

Join us on the first Sunday in May for our annual Open House. Every year, we open our doors to the public for a peek behind the scenes at our rehabilitation center. Meet raptors up close, take self-guided tours, shop with local vendors, and more! There is always something to do with children’s activities, tours, and local shopping. Meet the authors of Inside a Bald Eagle’s Nest, shop with Chirp Kids Clothes and Wild Birds Unlimited, and check out the newest Tri-State gear on sale. You’ll be able to talk with local non-profit organizations and learn how you can make your own backyard safer for birds! You won’t want to miss the crowd-favorite avian trainers at Animal Behavior and Conservation Connections who bring a beautiful menagerie of birds. This fun-filled day is perfect for the whole family, a classroom trip, or a community organization to take a closer look at wildlife rehabilitation! Admission is free but donations of plain white paper towels and toilet paper are appreciated!
