The Tome School opened in 1889 to fulfill a prominent businessman’s vision for a school that would prepare students to acquire the skills necessary to be successful in their lives. The school remains true to that mission more than 125 years later.
A $12 million project to modernize the facility will be fully completed in 2015. With the project now past the halfway point, the hospital is already seeing enhanced patient care and outcomes as a result
