Bard's Banquet, Beers for Shakespeare

Apr 08, 2015 11:17AM ● By Kevin

“Good company, good wine, good welcome can make good people.” In honor of Shakespeare’s 451st birthday (believed to fall on April 23, 1564), The Friends of Cecil County Public Library invite you to “The Bard’s Banquet.”  The evening will feature a four course Elizabethan dinner, offered with beer or wine pairings in addition to a cash bar. Hosted at the North East River Yacht Club, “The Bard’s Banquet” is Saturday, April 18 at 6:30pm. All inclusive tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased by calling the North East Yacht Club at 410-287-6333.

The Friends of the Cecil County Public Library is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that advocates and raises funds for the library to support programs and events such as the Summer Reading and Learning program.  CCPL’s Summer Reading and Learning program begins on Monday, June 1, so mark your calendars! The Friends of CCPL support out-of-school and summer learning initiatives as the best way to keep our children growing, learning and striving for excellence.

Want to get involved? Individual memberships are just $10 per year and Family Memberships are $15. Members will receive quarterly newsletters and advance notification of special events.

We look forward to seeing you on April 18. And bring a friend – you don’t have to be a member of the Friends of CCPL to attend any of our fundraisers! Questions? View the menu here:  http://goo.gl/twt4Wa or email [email protected]
